- I am an English as a Foreign Language instructor who is teaching college-level Korean students who are interested in business English. We are learning how to express: happiness (at something), sadness (at something), disappointment (at something or someone), and confidence (about someone or something). I want to teach valid and highly used forms of functional language that is specific to this context. I have never worked in International Business and feel unprepared to teach them the specific kinds of “typical language/lingo.” If you have experience in this field, could you give me some examples. For example, if you are talking about a business proposal, does it sound realistic to say, “I am very happy about the proposal.” Or, does it sound stilted and unrealistic. Obviously, I want phrases that are as realistic as possible to teach them so they can succeed in their choosen field. - 28 February 2009

- Hello. I would be glad if You shared your opinion about studies of visual arts in high European art schools, be it academy or university. I’m actually looking for studies in English language, and I’m particularly interested in schools, providing combined course of fine arts, some practical things, like design, and art history. Thank you. - 16 November 2008
- Is there such a difference in the ‘English’ Language It doesn’t matter where you go, around the world or in your own country. Different parts spell, pronounce, place different meanings to different things. For example; Whats said in Sydney is hardly understandable in Perth. What’s said in English in Vladisvostock, is taken completely differently in Stockholm, what’s pronounced in Los Angeles is offensive in Johannesburg. What’s written in Nairobi, can’t be fully comprehended in London and, viceversa of course. Why is this so. - 30 September 2008
