• I have bird feeders in my yard to feed the tiny little birds that fly about, especially this time of year when it's really cold. The problem I am having is that there are alot of crow / black birds in our area and they are absolutely relentless when it comes to the bird feeders. I really don't care for these black birds at all. They eat or destroy all the food for the little birds in a short amount of time. Does any one have a sensible solution to this bird problem, besides shooting the black birds. We have plenty of woods and fields for these black birds to hang out in....Not my bird feeders!
• Hi, I want to buy these office desks that are Veneer. But I want to paint them. Is there any special primer I can use? Or special kind of paint? I have seen it done before on Kitchen Cabinets so I am wondering how that is done. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you cool Yahoo people.

• I want 1/3 cup cooked elbow macaroni. I can't figure out how much uncooked elbow macaroni to use. 1/3 cup equals one starch. I want to make a salad with fruit, vegetables, low fat mayo and artificial sweetener. The box of uncooked elbow macaroni says that 1/2 cup uncooked is 56 grams. My diet calls for 1/3 cup cooked and doesn't give it in grams. I'm terrible at math, and can't figure out how to calculate this. I've searched for conversion tables, but my search didn't produce anything. Can someone steer me in the right direction?

• I have a rather old dresser that I got from an antique store a while ago. About two weeks ago, one of the knobs on the second drawer came off. Then the other one came off too. Now my drawer is stuck shut and I can’t get it open. I looked to see if I could get through to it from the drawer above and below it, but there isn’t any way.
• My aunt bought a 12×36 pool. She seems to be over shocking and over chlorinating it. We bought both the shock and the chlorine in powder form, in rather large jugs. I can’t remember the exact amount. She has gone through both of them in two weeks. She shocks and chlorinates the pool every day. And today we bought 10 Oz packets of powder shock, she used both of them today, without even mixing it with water first. So, it’s no question IF she is over shocking and over chlorinating. But…She has atleast 6-10 small children swimming in the pool. I realize the chlorine makes it sanitary, but sometimes it’s too much.
• My cats seem to be chasing down alot of flies and moths which is perfectly understandable. But then they just gobble them up like a tasty treat. Is that normal/healthy? Does it indicate some deficiency in their diets or is insect gobbling normal cat behavior?
